      Bumpers for slabs: protect your graded cards

      A bumper is the silicone or polycarbonate shell that wraps the slab of a graded card and protects its corners and edges from knocks, drops and scratches. On a PSA 10 or BGS 9.5 card the slab is part of the value: a marked or chipped case shows immediately when selling or displaying it.

      How to choose the right bumper

      Always check the grader: PSA and BGS slabs have different dimensions, and a PSA bumper does not fit a Beckett slab. If you take your graded cards to fairs and events, a bumper plus a rigid case is the safest combination.
